Tudor

 

Tudor Watches were introduced in 1946 by Rolex founder – Hans Wildorf. Rolex manufactures Tudor watches, using modified movements supplied by Swiss Ebauche makers, ETA. Tudor watches are known for their reliability and waterproof cases and they were often used by divers in the French and US Navy.


Tudor models were sold with Rolex signed bracelets and crowns until the 1990’s when the decision was made to separate the two brands.


In 1997 Rolex signed a contract with the famous golf player Tiger Woods to advertise the Rolex Tudor Prince Chronograph. The first Rolex Tudor Chronograph Tiger Woods model came out with a variety of colored displays.
